Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 14 July 2025 · Effective: 14 July 2025
1. Definitions
"Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms communicated at enrolment.
"We / Us / Our" means Tunas Nusantara, an online AI development school operating from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
"You / User" means any person who accesses this website or enrols in a programme.
"Programme" means any of the structured learning modules offered by Tunas Nusantara, including Introduction to Python for AI Work, Deep Learning and Neural Network Foundations, and Applied Machine Learning Programme.
"Content" means all course material, recordings, written feedback, exercises and related resources delivered as part of a Programme.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting an enrolment enquiry, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or enrol in any Programme.
Programmes are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
This Agreement is formed when we confirm your enrolment in writing (typically by email) following receipt of payment.
3. Programme Description and Availability
Tunas Nusantara offers part-time online AI education programmes delivered in English, primarily serving learners based in Malaysia. All programmes are delivered online via recorded material, live video sessions and a written communication channel.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain programme availability throughout the scheduled duration. Planned maintenance or technical disruptions will be communicated in advance where possible. Unplanned outages affecting a live session will result in the session being rescheduled or replaced with a recording.
We reserve the right to update programme content between cohorts to reflect changes in tools, libraries or best practices. Material changes to content during a running cohort will be communicated to enrolled learners.
4. Enrolment and Account
Enrolment begins with submission of the contact form or an enquiry by email. For the Applied Machine Learning Programme, enrolment is subject to completion of an entry check as described on the programme page. We confirm enrolment in writing after verifying eligibility and receiving payment.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials provided for accessing recorded sessions or course materials. You must not share these credentials with others.
We may terminate your enrolment without refund if you share access credentials, submit work that is not your own, or engage in conduct that is harmful to other learners or our staff.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to use programme materials for your own personal learning only. You may not distribute, republish, sell or share recorded sessions, written materials or feedback with any person outside your enrolment.
Submitted work must be your own. Submitting work produced by another person or AI tool as your own removes the basis for the feedback we provide and may result in removal from the programme.
You agree not to use the help channel or live sessions in a way that is disruptive to other learners or staff.
6. Intellectual Property
All course material, exercises, feedback templates and recordings are the intellectual property of Tunas Nusantara unless otherwise stated. Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use programme materials for your own learning during and after the programme period.
You retain ownership of work you submit as part of a programme. By submitting work, you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of providing feedback and, in anonymised form, for quality review of our teaching processes.
7. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current fees are: Introduction to Python for AI Work — RM 125; Deep Learning and Neural Network Foundations — RM 370; Applied Machine Learning Programme — RM 650.
Payment is due before the programme start date. Accepted methods include bank transfer and common Malaysian online payment options; specific instructions are provided on enrolment confirmation. Fees are subject to change between cohorts but will not change once enrolment is confirmed.
Refund policy: The Introduction to Python for AI Work module allows withdrawal within the first two weeks for a full refund. For other programmes, fees are not refundable after the programme starts, except where the programme is cancelled by us, in which case a full refund is provided. The Deep Learning repeat option is at no additional charge and is not a refund mechanism.
8. Programme-Specific Terms
Introduction to Python for AI Work: A four-week module. Learners may withdraw in the first two weeks without question for a full refund. No certificate of completion is issued; the programme is not an accredited qualification.
Deep Learning and Neural Network Foundations: A ten-week module. Learners may repeat the module once at no additional charge if they need more time. This option must be requested before the cohort ends. No certificate of completion is issued.
Applied Machine Learning Programme: A sixteen-week programme with a prerequisite entry check. Places are confirmed only after the check is completed satisfactorily and payment is received. No certificate of completion is issued; the programme is not an accredited qualification.
9. Disclaimers
Programmes are provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure material accuracy but do not represent that all content is free of errors. The AI development field changes rapidly; some specific techniques or tools may become outdated during or after a programme.
No representations are made about career outcomes, salary changes, employment prospects or specific technical abilities learners will achieve. What a learner achieves depends on their effort, existing knowledge and circumstances beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tunas Nusantara's liability to any learner is limited to the fee paid for the specific programme giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses including lost income, lost opportunities or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law in Malaysia.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate enrolment. If you withdraw after the refund window has closed, no refund is due. If we terminate your enrolment due to a breach of these terms, no refund is due. If we cancel a programme, a full refund is provided.
After termination, your licence to access course materials ends. Sections of this Agreement relating to intellectual property, liability and disputes survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally should be referred to the courts of Malaysia, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before initiating any formal proceedings, please contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution. We will respond within 14 days.
13. General
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it in future.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment governs that enrolment unless we notify you of material changes.
