Three Programmes, Each Sized to What It Covers

Each programme has a published prerequisites cell so you can judge fit before you apply.

Applied Machine Learning

Applied Machine Learning

Sixteen weeks, part-time. Supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation and deployment basics. Two live sessions each week in the evening, Malaysian time.

  • Four projects on real datasets
  • Written feedback on each submission
  • ~10 hours per week commitment
  • Prerequisites published in full
Deep Learning

Deep Learning & Neural Networks

Ten weeks. Network architectures, backpropagation, regularisation and transfer learning. Includes mentor review of each learner's training runs with written notes on what is underperforming and why.

  • Free cloud tier guidance for Malaysia
  • Mentor reviews every training run
  • 6–8 hours per week
  • One free repeat if more time needed
Python for AI

Introduction to Python for AI Work

Four weeks. Data structures, functions, arrays, dataframes and reading others' code. Written for career changers from non-technical fields. Each concept comes with a small worked example first.

  • 4 hours per week, flexible schedule
  • Open help channel between sessions
  • Weekly office hours
  • Withdraw in first two weeks if not the right fit

What Makes These Programmes Different

Honest prerequisites, published before you apply

Each programme lists exactly what prior knowledge is expected. There is no vague "beginner-friendly" language that wastes your time or money.

Weekly time commitments stated clearly

You see a realistic hours-per-week figure before enrolling. Evening scheduling is designed around the Malaysian working day.

Written feedback, not just scores

Instructors write notes on your actual submissions explaining what works and what does not. Grading alone rarely tells you how to improve.

Real datasets from the start

Projects use data that behaves like data in the real world — messy, incomplete and context-dependent. Toy datasets are kept for explaining concepts only.

No-pressure withdrawal and repeat policy

The Python module allows withdrawal in the first two weeks. Deep Learning learners may repeat at no charge if they need more time. This is stated upfront.

No expensive hardware required

The deep learning module specifically covers free and low-cost cloud tiers available to learners in Malaysia so you can train models without a dedicated GPU machine.

# cell 05 — questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to quit my job to follow these programmes?
No. All sessions are recorded and the live components are held in the evening, Malaysian time. The realistic weekly hour estimates (four to ten hours depending on which programme) are there so you can judge the fit against your current schedule before enrolling.
What level of Python knowledge is expected for the Machine Learning programme?
Comfortable with Python and basic statistics. The full prerequisites are published on the programme page before any payment is made. If you are not there yet, the Introduction to Python for AI Work module is the right place to start — it is designed specifically to bring people up to that point.
Can I take the Deep Learning module without doing Machine Learning first?
That depends on your existing background. The prerequisites for Deep Learning are published in full. Some learners come in with prior machine learning experience from other sources and find they are ready. If you are unsure, write to us with a description of what you already know and we will give you a straight answer.
What hardware do I need?
A reasonably recent laptop with a stable internet connection. The Deep Learning module includes guidance on free and low-cost cloud computing options available to learners in Malaysia, so you are not expected to own dedicated GPU hardware.
What happens if the pace is too fast for me?
Deep Learning learners may repeat the module once at no extra charge if they need more time. Python learners may withdraw in the first two weeks. These options are stated before you enrol, not discovered afterwards.
Is there support between sessions?
Yes. There is an open help channel you can use any time. The Python programme also includes weekly office hours. Instructors respond to questions between sessions rather than only during live calls.
What currency are the fees in, and how do I pay?
All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment details are shared once you confirm enrolment via the contact form. Accepted methods include bank transfer and common Malaysian online payment options.
