Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 10 July 2025 · Effective: 10 July 2025
1. Introduction
Tunas Nusantara ("we", "us", "our") is an online AI development school registered and operating in Malaysia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect from people who visit our website or enrol in our programmes, how we use that data, and what rights you have over it.
This policy applies to all data collected through this website (tunasnu.blog) and through our programme enrolment and administration processes. It does not apply to third-party websites that may be linked from this site — those are governed by their own privacy notices.
If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, write to us at [email protected].
2. Data We Collect
Through the contact form: When you use the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and message content. This data is collected to allow us to respond to your enquiry.
Through programme enrolment: When you enrol in a programme, we collect the information needed to administer your participation — name, email address, payment confirmation, and records of submitted work and feedback. Phone numbers are collected if you choose to provide them for scheduling purposes.
Through website use: We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information. If analytics cookies are accepted, we collect anonymised data about how pages are used — pages visited, time spent, and general location (country level only).
Legal basis: Contact form data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Enrolment data is processed as necessary for the performance of the programme contract. Analytics data is processed only with your consent via the cookie banner.
Retention: Enquiry data is kept for 12 months. Enrolment records including submitted work and feedback are kept for 3 years after programme completion. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
3. How We Use Your Data
To respond to enquiries: Contact form submissions are used to reply to your message and, if relevant, to suggest programme options. We do not use enquiry data for marketing without your explicit opt-in.
To deliver programmes: Enrolment data is used to manage your participation, communicate about sessions, deliver feedback on submitted work, and maintain records of completed modules.
To improve the website: Where analytics cookies are accepted, we use aggregated anonymised data to understand which pages are useful and where people encounter difficulty.
We do not: sell your personal data, share it with advertising networks, use it for automated decision-making that affects you, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third parties with access: We use a payment processor to handle programme fees — they receive only what is necessary to process payment. We use an email service provider to send communications related to your enrolment. Both are bound by data processing agreements.
4. Data Protection Measures
Data transmitted between your browser and this website is encrypted using HTTPS. Stored enrolment records are held on servers with access controls limited to programme administration staff. Submitted work and feedback records are not accessible to other learners.
Access to personal data within our team is limited to the people who need it to do their job. We review access permissions when staff roles change.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
5. Cookies
This website uses cookies to keep the site functioning and, with your consent, to collect anonymised usage data. Essential cookies required for the site to work are always active. Optional analytics and preference cookies are only set if you accept them via the cookie banner on the homepage.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the Cookie Policy page.
6. Your Rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you have the right to access personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, and to withdraw consent for processing where consent was the legal basis.
You may also request that we delete data we hold about you, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain certain records (for example, records required for financial compliance during the applicable period).
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] with sufficient information to identify your data. We will respond within 21 days.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you may raise a complaint with the Department of Personal Data Protection Malaysia (PDPD).
7. Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to external sites, including cloud computing providers mentioned in programme materials. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We recommend reading the privacy notice of any third-party site before providing personal data to it.
8. Children
Our programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page changes. For material changes affecting how we use your data, we will notify enrolled learners by email. Continued use of the website after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
